Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issues Notice to Passport Applicants

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is calling on all passport applicants who paid for processing before 28th April 2025 (prior to the rollout of chip-embedded passports) but have not completed their application to contact the Passport Office Client Service Unit.

The old portal used for such applications is no longer in use due to the migration to the new chip-based system.

Applicants affected by this transition should call 0302 754 200 for assistance.

For general passport applications, the public is reminded to use the updated portal: passport.mfa.gov.gh.

The Ministry seeks the public’s cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition.
