VIDEO: Man Unknowingly Performs Ablution With Sulphuric Acid After Using Public Washroom

A Muslim man has been hospitalised after he unknowingly performed ablution with sulphuric acid kept in one of the cans at a public washroom.

The man whose name was only given as Tijani is said to be a cobbler who plies his trade around the Kumasi Central Market.
It is reported that he went to use a public washroom around the area and as per his tradition, used what he thought was water to rinse his genitals.


 
People rushed to his aid when they heard him crying for help and sent him to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
Two people have since been arrested by the police to assist investigations.
